Well last night for the first time I saw the semi negative aspect of the new site slaves.ie
You can use the hash tag #slavesIE / #slaveIE and you’ll appear on the site. Obviously though like all hash tags that are on those twitter widgets it’s potentially open to abuse.
While maybe not abuse of the hash tag a company and an internship was called into question. Personally (I know I probably keep using that term but my opinions expressed are my own and I want to make that clear) for me the job didn’t strike me as abuse of the system. A company may end up with negative rep from a few...

Warning this post contains fowl language …. DUCKS … GEESE … CHICKENS … it may also contain some foul language so depending on your views it may well be not safe to read any further.
Ended up launching slaves.ie this morning and I just can’t believe the response to it I must be honest. I thought it’d get a few ReTweets and a few negative/positive comments and that would be that. Currently using the jquery-lightbox plugin and finding that show_linkback and <script type=”text/javascript” src=”jquery.lightbox.min.js?show_linkback=false”></script> doesn’t seem to be disabling it.
I don’t have time to go messing about and seeing why it isn’t working at the moment so the quick solution is editing the jquery.lightbox.min.js file
Find the bit show_linkback:true in there and change it to show_linkback:false

If you’re like me then every so often you’re just in the right place at the right time and end up taking a photo you truly love.
This is one of those photos.
I give you FireKitties Ying and Yang (though I was calling them Paul and Nick)

I always end up saying something like FREE GAMES in the title of these posts cus I think it possibly works. No idea if it does but if you want DRM free / cross platform (linux / windows / mac) games at a price you dictate then this is it.
You’re getting 5 Games for whatever price you want
That’s
Crayon Physics Deluxe
COGS
VVVVVV
Hammerfight
And Yet It Moves
Some of the money goes to charity as well and you decide how it’s spread out.
I’ve previously picked up World of Goo which is one of the most original games I’ve ever played with an amazing soundtrack to boot.
So head...
