I ended up getting my MacBook Pro in early 2008. It took me around 2 weeks to get up to speed on all things Apple (though of course there are always new things to learn). Since moving to OSX my workflow has been pretty much amazing. It’s something that most web / graphics people who move to a mac find at least from those I’ve spoken to. Most websites I create are hosted on linux … and running MAMP on this machine things just move across so nicely (had used windows and WAMP previously as well as a fedora core 4 machine at work).

Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion (but I’m right)
Saw the Go Home Productions – Smells Like Rockin’ Robin (Nirvana vs Michael Jackson) mashup a few months ago and I was completely blown away. I was a big fan of Nirvana many years ago (though I got into them after Kurts passing) and while never a major fan of Michael Jackson I do think he had an amazing voice. Of course it’s very easy looking back now to say they were muppets but I’d just like to know what qualifications any of these people actually have to run a country?
I was one of the people who didn’t buy during the boom years who was continually bombarded by people telling me I should be buying (no doubt there are a lot of people who were in the same boat)

Here’s a little thing I only came across last night.
Though I haven’t been that active on boards.ie in recent times I always end up checking in there every few days just to see what’s new. I subscribe to a number of forums on there so in general I end up typing in boards.ie into the URL bar and then clicking on the subbed section. Well now it would appear if you go in and edit your details you have the option to change what the front page is displaying.
This is probably no doubt old news for a lot of people but for me it’s new ...
